Waking up, breathing, getting out and moving along with nature in bloom. As afternoons get longer, Garda is the ideal place to experiment and indulge one’s passions.
Garda is home to golfers, with two golf clubs between the green hills and the blue lake. A beautiful panoramic 18 + 9-hole course dominates the Gulf of Garda from above, and a second brand new two-hole course is perfect for swing novices with a well-equipped training area.

Loved by Central European tourists and true Garda locals is the bicycle, the preferred means to discover the lake and its surroundings. Gravel trails contour the gulf, the hills towards the Fortress and Mount Luppia… and all it takes is a blanket for a five-star picnic with local produce.
For everyone, even the youngest, there is the bike lane that connects Garda to Bardolino and Lazise, which also runs along the lakeside towards San Vigilio.
To enjoy its primordial elements of water and wind, the Gulf of Garda, mitigated by its gentle breezes, offers the perfect set to attempt sailing for the first time, or to polish up your technique under the guidance of experienced FIN sailors.
If, on the other hand, you definitely want to slow down the pace, a lunch or aperitif by the lake is a perfect combination of flavours and views.
Nature awakens In Garda and its surroundings, there is no shortage of opportunities to discover and savour seasonaldelicacies and zero-kilometre products. Quality and sustainability are pillars of the entire supply chain, which includes produce such as PDO oil, DOC wine, freshwater fish, meat and artisan cheeses from Lessinia and Baldo.
While there is no time or season to (not) indulge in a taste of sweet fogassa or a San Vigilino, during this season you can’t miss the handmade bigoli with sardines in the village restaurants, perfect accompanied by a Lugana or a Chiaretto wine.
The spring wind begins to blow, and for Garda it is a tailwind.
